After Courtney's brunch I hit the road again and headed further south, destination: Ponte Vedra, Florida to visit Meredith R on the first part of the Meredith tour.
I arrived late Saturday night and was so excited to see her since it had been almost a full year since we had seen each other. She showed me her cute condo and we sat on her screened in porch sipping wine, reminiscing about the good ole college days, and catching up.
Meredith and I met sophomore year of college when she let me borrow her exacto knife to cut my carpet. We have been friends every since and share a great love and affection for wienies!!! We made Snoopy's famous while we were in college and so I was super excited to get to be introduced to the Hot Dog Hut. Now Meredith and I are both self-proclaimed fatties, but we opted for the turkey dogs. Boy were those some good dogs. Meredith is friends with the owner and his wife and so they were ever so gracious to let us wear their wienie hats and get a pic.
Meredith and I ate our way through Florida the day I was there. Starting with breakfast at this amazing diner, lunch at the Hut, frozen yogurt, and then dinner on the water at this super cute down home cookin' restaurant. Meredith didn't let me leave empty handed, she baked me a lemon pound cake. So much fun to see where she lived and catch up face to face. Can't wait for you to visit me, Meredith!!!

P and I had to experience the Hut alone since MKR was working when we went. Isn't it great. I am assuming you went to Barbara Jean's for dinner. Glad you had fun!!!
i love this!!! it made me tear up a little. i had so much fun. and yes, KSH, we went to Barbara Jean's!!!
