Last Stop

My final stop on my way back home was Maryland/DC. My cousin Allison and her fiance Tom live in Maryland right outside DC. I stayed with them for two nights. On Monday while they were both at work, I ventured into DC and hit up some of my all time favorites. It was a gorgeous day.

My all time favorite museum is the Smithsonian Museum of American History, so I headed there first. My favorite part of this museum is the first ladies exhibit with all the beautiful dresses from the inaugural balls.
Kermit was there too.

I walked around and enjoyed the gorgeous day, bought a hot dog for lunch from a hot dog stand, and ate on the mall.

I met Allison after work for some fro yo and then we headed back to her house for a delicious dinner of pizza spaghetti. Of course I didn't get ANY pictures of us together so will have to make up for that in a few weeks at her wedding!! Thanks so much for letting me stay, I am looking forward to many more visits with my drives back and forth :)
