I left Florida Monday morning and headed north for stop 2 on the Meredith Tour: Savannah, Georgia to visit my college roomie. Meredith and I went into Savannah and lunched at 700 Drayton. It is a restaurant in this Victorian mansion. We both ordered the crab cakes and they were delicious! After lunch we walked around, saw the famous fountain in Forsyth Park and then shopped. After shopping we had some girl time at the spa with a mani/pedi!!
We then met Matt at Vinnie Van Go-Go's for dinner.
The 2nd day we had a very college day and stayed in our pjs for most of the morning and then lunched and got cupcakes at Back in the Day bakery.
I got a red velvet which was delicious!!!
That night for dinner we grilled out hot dogs and Meredith and I re-lived our Cornhuskin' days by having a shucking competition.
Meredith won (cause she cheated) and this picture shows how she really feels about our friendship... J/K HAHA :)
Meredith and Matt thanks so much for your fabulous hospitality. I could have stayed forever!! I can't wait til you make it to Boston.
