Riley

Two years ago today I met my nephew, Riley, for the first time.  That is a day that will forever be remembered.  It was after many prayers, many tears, many months of waiting, and many many miles of travel that he finally was placed into the arms of his mom and dad and welcomed not only to America but to the family that God had for him.  You see God is much bigger than us and He has a plan that well we as humans can't even fathom.  That little boy is such a gift and such a constant reminder of God's faithfulness.  I see all that my sister went through in the process of getting Riley and I am in awe of her strength and her continued faith.  She is such an example of a woman seeking after God and that is something that I hope others will be able to say about me.  

"Then Hannah prayed and said, my heart exults in the Lord; my horn is exalted in the Lord, my mouth speaks boldly against my enemies because I rejoice in your salvation.  There is no one holy like the Lord, indeed, there is no one besides You, nor is there any rock like our God."
