This past weekend my little sister Kaitlin rode the train to visit. It was so much fun to have her come and it was a quite grown-up thing for her to be allowed to branch out and do something like this. I picked her up on Saturday morning and we whisked away to downtown Raleigh to meet the roomies for some wedding dress shopping. After the shopping Kaitlin and I did what good studious people do... we headed to Caribou and did our homework. That afternoon we headed to Umstead and did some hiking and then came home and had a fun evening chillin' and watching a movie.
It is amazing to me how quickly one of my baby sisters is growing up. Kaitlin has turned into such a beautiful young lady. I can't believe she is a sophomore in highschool! She makes excellent grades and is on the cross country team. Another thing that truly made me very proud of her was her boldness in talking with those seated around her on the train ride. She engaged in a dialogue with an atheist gal about Christ and the Bible. WOW!! I can't say that I have done that before. What an example!!!
