Paths

No one was there that morning when we got to the restaurant, I guess not that many people breakfast on a Wednesday in February. We got seated at a big table and as the minutes ticked by more people began to come and go, come and go. I sat across from her as she shared her story with me and then I shared mine with her. Hurt, pain, confusion, uncertainty, and fear, but there underneath it all was God and His faithfulness and it had been the same for both of us.
I love how paths cross and He uses someone, french toast, and a cup of coffee to remind me once again that He's always been faithful and the reassurance that His fingerprints are indeed apparent in and on my life are ones I need to be reminded of.
