Ode to Tuesday Nights

Tuesday nights
Oh Tuesday night before you didn't mean much to me just a simple night at the beginning of the week. No glitz no glamor, just a night.
But then came spring semester 2011 and you became a saving grace.
After a full day in the schools watching and trying to help mold the future teachers of American and then sitting through 5 hours of class. 2.5 hours of information overload from a type of foreign language called law then 2.5 hours of grandpa droning on and on about onion models and feeling your feelings and feeling the feelings of your staff (okay it's not that bad just well at that point in the night you can only take so much!)

And though we are all exhausted and probably should go home and go to bed we embrace you Tuesday night and head out on the town for some much needed food and fun and deep intellectual conversations. Representatives from countries around the world including, Australia, Tanzania, Kenya, Mexico, and various states... kind of like a mini educational UN. Topics ranging from single sex education to the Amish have graced tables throughout greater Boston!

So tonight we will toast to another week of trudging through and cherish the last few weeks we have with some of our great friends who will head out into the working world ahead of us!!
