Home

It happens every time.
I fly home and look out on the city lights and get that feeling.
The feeling of amazement and awe.
I live here!
And I am once again reminded of the faithfulness of God in bringing me here and as I wipe away the tears that are mixed with joy and a hint of sadness, my heart is thankful and excited to be here... home.
Yes, this is my home.
And though my heart is pulled southward,
I know I am where I am supposed to be.

But the places that used to fit me cannot hold the things I've learned and those roads closed off to me while my back was turned
