Tricia came to visit me for my birthday weekend. She arrived Friday morning. It was so wonderful to see her! She and I packed a lunch and headed down to have a picnic at the Public Gardens and catch up. Afterward we wandered up and down Newbury Street doing lots of window shopping and browsing in stores.
Friday was my roomie Jillian's birthday so that night we went to Harvard square to our favorite hangout Grafton Street to celebrate.
Saturday after breakfast at the town diner, Tricia and I headed to Concord where we toured the Louisa May Alcott house (Orchard House) and spent some time antiquing and shopping in the little shops in Concord.
Orchard House: 80% of the furniture and artifacts in the house are actual pieces that belonged to the Alcotts.
