Sunday we drove up to Maine to do a little outlet shopping. We had to drive through New Hampshire so it was fun to add 2 new states to my list of ones I have visited all in one day. Though it was a very rainy and yucky cold day, Maine is a gorgeous state and I look forward to visiting again. We drove into Kennebunkport and drove along the coast and got to see the water splash against the rocky coast. We also got to see the gorgeous Bush family home.
As we drove back to Boston the rain started to get heavier and all of the sudden it started snowing... in October???? Oh goodness this is not a good sign. It was really beautiful and fun to have my visitors here to experience the first snow of the season.
We celebrated my birthday at the Cheesecake Factory Sunday night. The waitstaff sang to me and Riley blew out my candle for me... he kept laughing about that. He also was so sweet and kept telling me Happy Birthday. He is such a precious boy!
I have also never EVER celebrated my birthday on a day that it snowed, so that was first :)
