Today was a wonderful day with new friends. I have two friends from my assistantship that I have really clicked with and we headed out in the rain to Alumni Stadium to cheer on BC vs. Kent State. BC dominated to put it lightly. Now don't take this the wrong way... I will always be a Wolfpack fan, but it was soooooo much fun to watch the team I was cheering for smear the other team! (Way to go tonight Wolfpack doing the exact same thing, wish I could have witnessed that!) Anyway....
Janey, Frances, and I during a little break in the rain, so much fun going to football games with friends... makes me miss my season ticket buddy like crazy though!!!
After the game we all headed home and then I met up with Janey and some of her friends for dinner and a move in Coolidge Corner. The theater was so amazing, old school, and it felt like you were at a broadway theater. When we left the theater it started to rain again first lightly and then super hard! Our car was kind of far away so we played in the rain on the way to the car. It was AMAZING getting utterly soaked and letting all grasps of vanity go out the door and just putting your face to the sky letting the rain pour down on you and dancing down the city sidewalk... ahhh this is the life! Janey is super crazy... I think even more crazy than me which is fun! It has been so wonderful the way God has provided new friendships so quickly, yet another reminder that He has me in the palm of His hand and right where I am supposed to be.
