Well yesterday I turned in my final portfolio and assignments for my summer classes. What a relief and a since of accomplishment. I hadn't written such lengthy papers in for about 3 years so it took me a little time to get in the flow and crank some stuff out. I will say though that I did discover yet another reason why I absolutely love my MAC! In Word there is a feature where you can type in your sources and pick what format you want (APA, MLA) and then it prompts you for what you need to type in the fields depending on if it is a book, journal article, etc....like the title, author, date published, etc. Then all you have to do after you quote something is click on the little box to the right of your document and it cites it correctly for you. The best part of all is that at then end of your paper it makes your bibliography for you! So with a program like that maybe it's time to hit grad school... hahaha.
On an exciting note, tomorrow 2 of my sisters, my sister-in-law, and 7 of my friends are heading to Atlanta for the Deeper Still Conference. It is a women's conference where Kay Arthur, Beth Moore, and Priscilla Shirer. I am so excited to get to spend a fun weekend away from Raleigh with some great friends and sisters. I am really looking forward to a time of refreshment. I went to a Beth Moore conference in Chicago several years ago and it was a pivotal point in my life... so I am going expecting and can't wait to see what God has in store!
