The Graduate Student Association held its annual Charity Ball on Saturday night. I had a new cocktail dress that was begging to be worn and who doesn't love an opportunity to dress fancy and spend a long time on your hair and then walk outside to 18 degrees with killer winds!! I have been deemed social coordinator for the Tuesday night crew, so sent out an e-mail recruiting my friends to join me for this fun night. Luckily, I am not alone in my love of dressing up and shaking my groove thang!

Janey, Me, One of the Joes, and Maggie... half of the Tuesday night crewThis year has been way fun with my Edu. Leadership group and even the newbies of the assistantship have all been super social and up for hanging out and doing fun things. It has been such a much needed break in the week to go out after class and feel like part of a core group of friends to bounce exciting educational topics and ideas around with or heck to debate how much of an expert I am on the Amish... love you guys!!
