Women's Retreat

Last weekend was my church's annual women's retreat. I love retreats soooooo much. The biggest difference with this retreat was that I was in charge. We had it at a local hotel, but it was so nice to get away for a night and fellowship and get to know some new ladies.
I am so thankful for the four other women who were on the committee and helped plan such a wonderful weekend for the women of our church!

The theme was Spiritual Balance and De-cluttering our Lives. Our speaker was a wife and mom of two who is also the regional director for Young Life and involved in various ministry capacities at her church. She had many personal applications including drawing activities that for someone who is artistically challenged (my hand is waving in the air) were a bit stretched!

Accessory Swap: Since the theme was decluttering what better way to declutter than bring some accessories that you no longer use and swap for something that you would use/wear! This was a big hit and I was so excited that everyone brought things and loved the idea. I walked away with a gorgeous necklace and cute knit hat.

I have been so in awe of God's grace as I have stepped into this position and am really looking forward to what God has in store for the women of Hope!!
