On the morning of my birthday Tricia took me as a surprise to the Wake Forest Tea Room for a tea party. I had a tea party for my birthday party when I was 10, so Tricia wanted to re-create it. Can you believe that we have been friends for 20 years?? So thankful that God has given me a life long friend!! And just to show how small of a world it is, one of my friends in Boston's best friend works at the tea room......wow!!!
After tea we headed to Southpointe to meet the sisters and a nephew and two nieces.
We lunched at the Cheesecake Factory and then did a bit of shopping before I had to catch my flight back home.
I got a yummy dessert with a candle and they sang happy birthday to me :)It's always hard getting back on the plane and heading home, but it was easier this time knowing I would see the fam just 2 short weeks after for Allison and Tom's wedding!!
