Al and Tom's Wedding Part 3 (Washington, DC)

Saturday morning we got up and checked out of our hotel and met up with Uncle Joe and Aunt Kathi for breakfast. It was such a treat to be able to see them twice in a four month period when it is usually years between visits!

Then the clan said goodbye to them and headed to DC for the day. We checked into our hotel and then hit up the Metro... these little boys were so excited to be riding public transportation and could have done that the rest of the day and been so happy!

First stop the American History Museum and saying hello to Julia Child, the First Ladies dresses, and much more

Air and Space Museum was next. I really love spending so much time with my nieces and nephews. We did some walking and then found our way to the White House.

My four favorite kiddos at the WWII memorial

Me and Mere

Kaitlin and I, so fun to get to be bed buddies all weekend :)

Back to the Metro to head towards our hotel and then grabbed some dinner and got back late, said goodnight and I said goodbye to the fam.

Got up at 4:30 to catch the super shuttle to the airport made it to the airport five minutes too late to catch the earlier flight, but made it back to Boston around 10:30... not too shabby. So fun to get to see my family and so looking forward to Christmas!
