Sunday afternoon 7 of the bridesmaids and I hosted Tricia's first bridal shower. We had about 38 people come and she definitely got showered with lots of gifts. It was yet another reminder that the wedding is just around the corner and my best friend will become a wife. I don't think I have quite allowed myself to completely process what is about to happen and have been too busy planning events and applying to graduate school that I haven't sat down for long to think about it. I will have to sit down in the next few weeks and write my speech and I know that is when it will REALLY hit me.
