It was an incredible honor to have the first lady of the United States come and speak at the conference. She is such a leader in literacy and an advocate for helping children that it was definitely encouraging to hear her take on current legislation that is under review. She is also someone that I find the epitome of what a first lady should be. When you think first lady you think Laura Bush. I am a very big fan of the Bush family and it was such a thrill to get to see her in person!
