Here are pictures and details of the activities during my time in Nashville.
The first night we got there Courts and I went to dinner with one of my dear friends from youth group days, Laura, who lives in Nashville with her husband.
She took us downtown Nashville where we dined at the Old Spaghetti Factory.. it was such a fun restaurant.. kind of like Clue meets murder mystery party meets a warehouse with stained glass windows.
After dinner we walked through downtown and found Elvis
We went into this shop that would be like umm the country equivalent to Wings the beach store.
These country horses were in the hotel and umm we had to have a photo with them

I think this was hour 3 of the 4.5 hours we waited in the blistering heat to see a live taping of Nashville Star.... umm yes we made it on tv in the opening portion of the show!! Totally worth the loooooooooong wait because we got to see Billy Ray Cyrus and Jewel and hear some incredible singing... Go Melissa!!!
What a fun night!
Though we didn't see a show at the Opry House we did go to the museum on the property.
