Kaitlin off to College

In the middle of August, I traveled south to travel even further south (I know I was surprised there wasn't a direct flight from Boston) with Erin, Sus, Kaitlin, and baby Annalise to take Kaitlin to college. Yes I went to Arkansas! Many people have been confused as to why one would travel there, yes I know this is quite a mystery to me as well :)

Nothing says "welcome" like getting off the plane in 100+ degree weather and walking through a shed type structure to finally make it to the terminal... very very interesting airport!

Unfortunately, there were no Dugger sightings during our time in their town :(

Off and on her way for a new adventure

It was Annalise's first plane ride, she was so good on the trip and hung in there with the big girls!!

We shopped and ate and ate and shopped and got all the essentials needed for a great dorm room.

Yay for the travel folder, though I was mocked by some of my sisters for this very important element to every trip! And my thorough college list helped streamline our shopping!

I showed off my amazing packing skills by filling the rental car to the max with all the gear and even saved room for the passengers!

Voila..... the model room on the hall that everyone kept poking their heads in to see how it was arranged, why yes we have done this college dorm room thing once or twice before :)
(Kind of scary to realize that I was moving into college this time 10 years ago!)

So great to share such a special time together!

These 2 are going to have mucho fun in college, I am way jealous and kind of wanted to stay!!

You know you have reached womanhood when you are finally carrying a purse, Kaitlin has finally reached womanhood :)

So thankful for the love and support of my sisters and it was so fun to get to be there to send Kaitlin on with love, blessings, and a few tears for a great first semester.
Can't wait to see you at Christmas!!!
