A Latte Love

Our community group threw a coffee themed shower for Dan and Sarah back in April. They met while working at Starbucks during grad school, which was the inspiration behind the theme. I volunteered to do part of the decorations and got inspired with coffee filters.

The colors of the shower were green and brown so I punched out green di-cut letters and glued them on to brown cone coffee filters.

Then I sewed the filters together with the zig zag stitch

I was so excited how it turned out and think Martha would be proud!!!

Added some green ribbon and voila!


I also made coffee filter pom poms

We could have asked for the sleeves for the cups but it was more fun to acquire them over multiple trips to S-bucks

Dan has many nicknames, but one of them is Panther, so on the coffee flavored cupcakes, Deb topped them with Mr. and Mrs. Panther. Mrs. Panther even had painted claws.

It was such a fun shower with delicious food, fun games, and lots of laughs. Congrats Sarah and Dan!!
