The 4th of July

The fourth of July is my 2nd favorite holiday and a day I look forward to each year. This year was one of the best 4th of July's I have had to date!
My celebration started off with a nice morning at home complete with a cup of coffee and the Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest. This was the first year they have had a women's competition... I'm thinking about trying to qualify, who needs Miss America when you can be the hot dog eating champ??? just sayin....

The 4th of July outfit each year is a very important one and I was quite pleased with this year's ensemble!

The Boston skyline

After a BBQ (that would be a cookout for all my southern readers) at my friend Angela's house, I headed downtown for what proved to be the most amazing experience of my Boston life thus far!
My friend Kimberly lives in Beacon Hill and her rooftop deck over looks the Charles River where the fireworks are shot off each year. Needless to say the view was AMAZING!!!
