Just because you have articles strewn all over the desk, textbooks open, journals pulled up online, glasses on, headphones in, classical music playing, and are sitting in the library doesn't make you a successfully focused graduate student writing her very last paper!!!!
You could possibly be checking your e-mail and facebook every 5 minutes, reading your blog roll, texting a friend from class complaining about the paper, and thinking about your to-do list..... only 5 more pages to go :/
