10 Days Until Blast Off

Today it really hit me... in 10 days I make my big move! I can't believe it, is it really time to go? I am humbled at God's continued provision for this move, but at the same time am in shock.
There have been several moments of reality over the past few days that tell me it is almost time...

  • Yesterday was the first day of teacher workdays for the teachers at the school I have taught at for the past 3 years.... and I didn't go start to get the farm ready for the precious little children.
  • My apartment is looking more and more bare.... I don't even have bedroom furniture anymore, I am sleeping on an air mattress.
  • Also if you notice my blog has had a face lift.... my ooober blogoficianado sister designed my new template and I love it.... time to say goodbye to the farm and hello to the city.

I hope that you will stay tuned to see what God has in store as I take this next step, I am ever boldy walking through this door He has opened, only because I know He is holding my hand!

Don't know how I missed you going to Boston, but I guess I will have yet another person to visit when I head back for a visit. I miss Boston, especially the food and my church. You'll have a blast.

Some things I learned while in Boston:

The green line can cause car sickness during rush hour
Apple picking is a fall must at Honeypot Orchards.
The fries at Sunset Grill are awesome
The White Horse Tavern has trivia night on Sunday nights.
It is better to live relatively near your church
The Charles Weeks Bridge near Harvard is the best spot to watch the Head of the Charles
Avoid the subway after a Red Sox game
CIBO in the North End is awesome food!
If you read Sci-Fi or Fantasy, Pandemonium specializes in it, located in Central Square
You need a GPS to find Kendall Theatre

More helpful tips where those came from. :) Have fun. Glad to see I'm not the only one who ventured so far north.
