Happy Birthday Part 2

For my birthday weekend Sus came to visit, celebrate, and run a half marathon together!

We hit up Concord for some Alcott house tourage and lunching!!

So fun to visit with yet another sister and reminisce about our love of the March girls when we were younger.

Friday we headed to NH to pick up our race packets, check into our hotel, and carb load/celebrate my birthday in downtown Nashua!

It was a gorgeous evening so we got to dine outside! Which was eventful, complete with witnessing a pedestrian get hit by a car, WOW!!!

Saturday morning was race day!

Cannot think of a better way to celebrate the 29th anniversary of my birth than with the 29th annual Applefest half marathon!

Post-race complete with medals and yummy apple crisp! I also beat my time from my 1st half in January by eight minutes!!!

It pretty much rained the entire 13.1 miles. The course was very hilly but beautiful with the fall colors and the rolling farm land!

Sunday was church, massages, and South Pacific at the Boston Opera house!

Monday we headed downtown for lunch at the Barking Crab and a little tour of the harbor and then it was time to say goodbye!

Sus, thanks for coming to spend my birthday weekend with me and for helping to fulfill one of my dreams, running a half marathon together! I love you!!!!
