One of the things I miss the most about not living in NC are my NC State season football and basketball tickets! While I was there on my extended holiday (sometimes, I like to pretend I'm British), I got to experience these two loves!

NC State made it to a bowl game so my bro-in-law had his buddies over for a partay.... me and about ten 30something aged men were crammed into their family room watching the game.

Prior to the game, the kiddos and I had a photo session in our NC State gear, where else would you have said photo session? Why the NC State room of course!!!

Nothing says, "North Carolina" like some deep fried goodness... pickles and bananas anyone???

We then later in the visit got to go watch the Pack play basketball against Elon at the Greensboro Coliseum. Luckily they squeaked out a win after being down at the half... my goodness.
NC State, I will forever love thee whether near or far away :)
