I flew into NC first thing Thursday morning and Taylor and I had planned to leave that afternoon/evening but ended up deciding to wait until Friday morning. We were all dressed and ready to go and hit the road at 7:58am with plenty of time to stop for some coffee and get to the bridesmaid's luncheon by 10. As we pulled out of the neighborhood we got a text that the luncheon had been postponed due to the weather and flooding. This was just the beginning of a crazy weekend of flooded roads, re-routing, becoming good friends via the telephone with Ernie from the DOT, and me really wishing I had packed my rain boots!!!
To make a very long story short we finally made it to the bridesmaid's luncheon about 2pm but not without passing this on the side of the road... finally I believe all of Courtney's crazy stories from college!!
