California Part 3

Matt graduated from high school and I was super excited to be able to be there for the graduation. He graduated with like 775 other students which was like the total size of my high school. But let me tell you they do it right, the ceremony from start to finish was about an hour and a half and there was no boring political person trying to get their agenda across and encourage the kids to make good choices as they go out into the "real" world.... whew!!!! All the students who had a 4.0 or higher wore the white gowns and the rest of the students wore the blue ones. It was cool to have two different colors and especially to be able to honor the students who had worked so hard for those 4 years. Way to go Matt!!!!
All those medals just show you how smart he is!!!

I think at this point they were on name like 400

Juli and I afterwards

Me and the graduate

Uncle Joe, Juli, and I

After the graduation my Uncle Joe and Aunt Kathi hosted a dinner at El Niguel. It was so nice and I got to meet my Aunt Kathi's side of the family.

Matt got accepted to several schools and BC was one of them, however he chose UCLA, I am super excited for him, but it would have been really fun to have family close by. Maybe Juli will decide BC is the place for her :)

The days following the graduation we got to do many other fun things and ate at some delicious restaurants. I was really excited that I got to see Juli in action in one of her summer league basketball games. Thanks so much Colemans for hosting me and allowing me to be part of your family for ten fabulous days. I am coming back soon, so make sure the cats don't get too comfortable in my room!!! :)

Hi Karoline,
I loved everything you posted about your trip to So Cal. We had so much fun with you and Susannah. We are keeping your room free of cat fur hoping you come back soon. I am honored you included my artsy picture of you, Sus and Juli in the Getty gardens!!
All our love,
Kathi and the Coleman Family
