The Wall

Today I passed the wall.
The place it all started
A green skirt, a sandwich and a diet coke.
Basking in the warm April sun.
Thoughts.......
oh LOTS of thoughts scurrying around in my mind like a hamster on a wheel.
Churning, churning, churning.
What am I doing here?
Could I really live here?
No, not me.... this life is for someone else.
Buildings, big buildings with gorgeous Gothic architecture

Yet there He was
in the warmth of the sun
in the conversation
in the opened door
in it all

Little did I know what was in store.
Very little did I know.
He was the light to my path.
Leading me all the way here

And now again here I stand facing that wall.
Wondering, churning, and yearning to once again step onto that path.
The one He so clearly has set before me.
Believing that He will once again,
Fit all the pieces together.

Lord, I believe, help my unbelief!

Beautiful, Karoline!!! God continues to meet you where you are...to give you just enough manna for today. Just like the Israelites...if you stored it up and kept it it would spoil and be useless. Instead day by day, moment by moment, God continues to give you "enough" for the day, for the next mountain, for the next challenge. His mercies are new every morning!!
