Friday night was the Joy Prom. It's a dance my church hosts each year for people with special needs. It is a fun night of dancing and I don't know who has more fun, the guests or the hosts. This was my 3rd year doing this and it is one of the highlights of my spring! The theme this year was "Rocking Around the Clock." The guests arrive on a red carpet and are announced to the all the paparazzi who take their pictures and ask for their autographs. They then get matched up with an escort who takes them to get registered, get a corsage or boutonniere, have their make up done (girls) and shoes shined (boys). they then get their prom picture taken and head to the dance. It is such a neat time and something that I think everyone should experience!
