You wake up one morning and you are in high school

Blink and it's college

Graduation and then the "real world"

One moves half a world away, returns, gets married,

The other moves seven states away

But the true crescendo is when the babies start to arrive.

You can no longer deny that you are grown-ups, yet you still have moments of longing for those days of sleepovers and easy bake ovens

babies born to celebration
the joy of life oh what a sweet communion
shared with you

I know we're growing older
can you imagine what that will bring
