Martha's Vineyard

Ever since I saw the movie Sabrina, I always wanted to go to Martha's Vineyard. I always thought it was just some place that really rich people went and that I would have to wait for mr. money bags to sweep me off my feet to finally make it there, well boy was I wrong!!
My friend Kelly told me about making it into a day trip so Kaitlin and I headed to the Cape to catch the ferry and spend the day at the Vineyard.

I wore my new jewelry from Maine!!

Once we got off the ferry we rode the bus to Edgartown, which we had heard had the cutest shops. We walked in an out of the really fun shops, stopped for some coffee, had cupcakes, and enjoyed roaming the streets and looking at the charming houses.

After Edgartown we rode the bus to Vineyard Haven. We grabbed a late lunch at the Net Result which is a take out type restaurant and fish market. We each had yummy fish and chips!!

I loved this clock outside of one of the bookstores and think I will get one to put in my school one day!

After a little more shopping we headed to the ferry.

Martha's Vineyard is a wonderful day trip to take and though we went during peak season, it really didn't feel over-crowded or unmanageable. According to the bus driver, who lived there but couldn't think of a restaurant to recommend, he told me to come back in September cause that is when it is the best..... well he also wanted me to come back and look him up, hmmm I don't think so, but thanks for the thought, John!!

Kaitlin, it was so fun to make a new New England memory and to have you as part of it!!!
