BOSTON!!!!

Yep my friends it is official... I sent in my letter and check on Monday to tell them that this southern gal is heading up north to hang with the Yanks.
The Lord's provision last week was sooooo amazing. I had applied for an assistantship at BC and was waiting to hear back before I made my final decision. I found out last Tuesday that I got accepted to the assistanship and was so excited. We also go paid on Tuesday and in my paycheck was a mystery bonus for the exact amount of the deposit that I had to send in. I was in tears. It has been so neat to see the Lord open door after door and make clear the path for me to head to Boston. The next thing I am still praying for/about is my living situation, but I am confident that missing piece will fill in beautifully in the Lord's timing. It has been an amazing journey of many months of searching, seeking, asking, begging to know where I am supposed to be. I am definitely excited and scared to death, but am so thankful that my God can see the end result so I am just going to keep trusting Him each step of the way.... guess I need to buy some warmer clothes :)

The answer to my little game is that the mascots from all the schools I have attended or taught at have feathers... more specifically the Angels, Eagles, and Falcons all fly. BC's mascot is also the eagles so I am keeping in with the feather/flight theme... that is why I had to turn Harvard down.
