My Best Friend's Wedding

On Saturday I stood beside my best friend and saw the light in her groom's eyes as she walked towards him and as he vowed to be hers for forever. That's what I want! I saw her forehead nestled in his cheek as they knelt and prayed together. I saw her radiate like I NEVER have seen before in the whole umm like 17 years I have known her. That's what I want! I saw her basically RUN down the aisle to him. It is such a blessing to see the glory of Christ shining forth on them and I am so thankful that I was a part of their special day. It was such a reminder to me that I don't want to settle and no matter how long it takes, that is a love worth waiting for! As I said in my speech, thank you guys for being that example for so many of us!

Tricia asked me to get dressed up with her a few weeks ago when she did her bridal portraits and we did a photo shoot... it was AMAZINGLY fun and surreal all at the same time.
I can't believe my best friend is a wife!
