The week before Thanksgiving Dianna, Taylor, and I took Tricia out for her birthday which was in October but between trips, sickness, and well life, it was put off for a month. We went to the cheesecake factory and ate yummy cheesecake and had girl time, it was awesome!

Thanksgiving this year was a little crazy. My mom's older brother fell ill the Sunday before Thanksgiving and was in critical condition and later passed away the day before Thanksgiving so my parents went up to Virginia to be with him and my mom's other sibs. So it was us kiddos who praise the Lord are close with our brother-in-law's fam and shared Thanksgiving with them. This is a picture of Annie and I making mashed potatoes (this was the first year I have cooked for Thanksgiving) Annie is my black Friday shopping buddy, but due to the funeral it was a Wednesday night, Thursday night, and wee hours Friday morning shopping before we headed to Virginia.

Thanksgiving morning Sus, Erin, and I ran the 5k called the Greensboro Gobbler. Sus' friend Meagan ran with us too. It was so much fun and pretty cold, but I think it is going to be our new Thanksgiving tradition.

Saturday I headed back to Raleigh for the last home football game of the season. It was so awesome to watch the Pack beat up on Miami. I have really enjoyed this season and getting to spend time with Taylor. I'm a little sad that the season is over and especially since I am not sure where I will be next year, so not sure if we will be together for next football season :( But we do have basketball season to look forward to!
