Retreat Retreat

This past weekend I went with my Sunday School Class for their annual fall retreat. We went to Bradley, West Virginia and stayed on the campus of Appalachian Bible College. It was this quaint little college with about 250 student on the side of a mountain. It was such an amazing time of refreshment! I knew that I had been running like crazy for the past several months but it really hit me once I STOPPED and was retreating... how much I have worn myself down.
Our topic was "Christ Above All" and our speaker shared with us from Colossians. It was such an amazing time and I felt the Lord meeting me right where I was!
To God be the glory!!

I also got to meet some new people from Sunday school which was also a great time of fellowship and I have to say a big highlight was going to the New River Gorge. There is a bridge that is stinkin' amazing! This bridge has the world's largest steel span and is the second highest bridge in the US. It was so gorgeous! The gorgeous colors of Autumn were very evident and it made me once again stop and ponder... how can anyone not believe in God?
