So last week I went back to school and began the teacher workdays. Very interesting to be on this side of things... when you are a student you enjoy school all the way up til the first day of school. So long to those days and hello to the days of being there before and after the students.
I am soooooo excited about teaching 1st grade. My room is in utter disaray but it is totally going to be worth it. My collegues have already named me "laminating queen" and "over-achiever" hmm no worries there my friends... better that than something really mean. They are just jealous cause *cough cough* my room totally is going to rock cause it will be organized and you will be able to find what you are looking for. I'm really looking forward to my little farm ;) I will post pictures once everything is in order.
This weekend we moved and that just added a whole mix of emotions. So excited about the new place but well a little nostalgic. Our last night in 303 I climbed into bed with Tricia and we chatted and I realized I won't be able to do that for much longer. We had soooo much fun getting our apartment all cutsie and bargain hunting and re-covering and all that fun stuff... the furniture just doesn't look the same in the new place. Did a year really pass? So many changes in both our lives over the past year and it will be really awesome to see what changes are on the horizon for our year apart.
