Suuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!
Yes my friends it is that time again...... where hundreds of school spirited Angels bonfire, raid, scavenger hunt, serenade GALORE, paint, haul props from the corners of the earth, whistles blow, halls are cascaded with banging pots and pans and of course some dancing, parades, costumes, pig noses, and all kinds of unexplainable excitement.
Most knock this wonderful tradition, but I will just have to say, "You just have to experience it." Do people knock schools like A&T, Shaw, St. Aug's etc when they have a weekend event such as homecoming???... NOPE so I just want to say to all (Suuuuueeeeyyyyy, mere and I)
you people who are so critical of Cornhuskin' don't knock
it til you try it and get off our backs. We have school spirit
we have a blast and well coming from mega experience... it is a huge undertaking and something that is not for the faint at heart. I poured hundreds of hours into my "Touch of Reality" and I will have to say that is my greatest college memory.
Lil Sis' I am sooo proud of you girls and so excited for Friday night. It has been so weird being on the alumna side of things and actually getting sleep this week... it's the first time in four years.

I am so excited cause I made connection with my pen pal from like 10 years ago. I was soooo excited to find her and think that is the really cool thing about the internet.
Well a big happy birthday to Mere Robertson.... who would've thought that getting kicked out of my room sophomore year would turn into a beautiful friendship with the girl with the exacto knife :)
